Hugh Trimble is a folk singer, songwriter and storyteller based in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Born in Eastern Europe to American journalists, Hugh lived in four different countries before his eighteenth birthday, but his career as a musician began in Central Park. Inspired by his close-knit community of street artists, Hugh began writing feverishly. His Central Park busking moved towards recording studios and DIY venues in Brooklyn, then beyond. Hugh’s music has always paid homage to the rich and revolving landscapes and characters he learned to call home- even if only for an evening.

In his newest project, Hugh reunites with long-time friend Drew “Drewski” Niedzielski, whose extensive resume includes performing with riotous rock trio The Lakehouse Boys and founding East Nashville indie recording studio The Atomic Ranch. Hugh, Drewski and drummer Brian Bednarz mix compelling folk lyricism with electricity and fervor in HUGH TRIMBLE & THE ATOMIC RANCH BAND. Their latest releases were recorded live to tape at famed Nashville studios Welcome to 1979, and The Bomb Shelter, and are available now on all streaming platforms.
